The following is a list of conditions responsive to EEG Biofeedback and Neurofeedback according to published clinical data (BCIA 2004, Evidence-Based Practice in Biofeedback and Neurofeedback, Donald Moss, Ph.D., and Lynda Kirk, MA, AAPB 2004.)

Introduction to Neurofeedback- by EEG Spectrum International

Neurofeedback is a technique which enables us to train the brain to improve its regulation of all body functions and to increase one's awareness of the body's responsiveness to conditions. If the brain is not functioning normally, this can often be detected in the Electroencephalogram (EEG). By challenging the brain in a variety of situations, tasks, and exercises you can teach your brain coping strategies, endurance and to better function when facing challenges similar to how exercise improves one's overall health.

A more efficiently functioning brain helps improve focus, concentration, attention, memory and daily performance. It can enhance sleep so you can be more alert during the day while reducing anxiety, depression, seizures, headaches, migraines, stress and chronic pain. In addition, it can increase how well you can persist during boring tasks, teach you to slow down and think before typically instantaneous responses or reactions, and help you better manage emotions and behaviour. Since the brain is the control centre for your body's functions and responses, it can be programmed to think, feel and react in a desired way using operant conditioning. When your emotions are out of control, training can correct the problem. If you are apathetic, that can be corrected through training as well.

There are specific areas where EEG neurofeedback training is helpful such as with epileptic seizures, traumatic brain injuries, tremors, strokes, and autism. Training may not get rid of the actual condition or underlying problem, but it can help the brain reorganize and develop further so it can better function with the injury and/or loss of function(s).

Biofeedback is a training exercise that allows personal development. Once specific objectives established at the first intake and assessment are met, training continues less frequently at a pace comfortable for the client to maintain their gains and optimal performance. Naturally, due to life stresses and unforeseen biological or life changes, a few booster sessions may be recommended to ensure peak performance. Just as symphonic musicians practice to maintain and improve their talent, EEG biofeedback training can be used to enhance performance with professionals, corporate executives, performing artists and Olympic athletes around the world.

Once you realize how biofeedback and neurotherapy can be effective for you, you may wonder if the training will change who you are. When a child known for temper outbursts and anger receives training and the rage dissipates, (s)he is certainly different than before, but the changes allow you to observe the child's true underlying personality and talent without the interruption of temper tantrums and anger. The training helps people actualize who they really are and wish to be by helping abate undesired symptoms so they are no longer uneasy and continually distracted. Come see your self emerge and learn strategies to improve your quality of life and health.

Reflexology originates back to ancient Egypt as evidenced by inscriptions found on the physician’s tomb in Saqqara. The hieroglyphics translation are: "Don’t hurt me." The practitioner replies:- " I shall act so you praise me".

Shiatsu is a Japanese therapeutic massage that uses pressure applied to specific trigger or acupressure points. It begins with a physical assessment then systematically moves along the body’s meridians. The recipient remains fully clothed throughout the relaxing experience. Aromatherapy can also be included when desired. The recipient remains fully clothed during thetreatments. uses a combination of massage, stretches, Sotai Therapy, and energy rebalancing to affect the body on a physical and emotional level.Shiatsu will help you:

  • balance energy centres (chakras)
  • relief from back, neck, and shoulder pain
  • Recovery from injuries

Neurotherapy and self-regulation is rapidly evolving into a primary care option for many disorders as well as within the corporate environment for improving employees’ productivity, outcomes, organisational competitiveness, reducing absenteeism, and undesired conflict or behaviours.  It can be used to manage mood, anxiety, sleep quality, learning, cognitive processing, pain, addictions, anger management, memory decline and over 64 other undesired symptoms.  Other relaxation techniques will be introduced including massage, imagery, psychological techniques, and psychiatric assessment tools to assist with better assigning staff to more effective roles within the organisation or structuring their workload accordingly.

The workshop starts with overviewing areas that each employee can improve their productivity, competitiveness in the local and international market, reduce undesired behaviours, introduces innovative training and workplace strategies to increase long term competitiveness of the staff and subsequently the organisation while demonstrating how all day to day operations can be improved through self-regulation techniques.  We will discuss stress and anger management, dealing with conflict and difficult behaviours of colleagues or customers, performance enhancement strategies, as well as how new medical and computer devices can be used to achieve accuracy and these performance goals.  An initial assessment of each employee’s needs will be conducted and a post training comparative will be provided to determine the learning objectives.  EEG Biofeedback, relaxation, Braindriving, sound, electrostimulation, BrainGym, behaviour therapies, psychological approaches, homeopathy, as well as others are presented and explained appropriate for a wide range of situations or conditions so staff can immediately apply these efficient techniques.  More aggressive intervention will be offered depending on the situation and corporate or individual needs where other approaches may not have worked in the past.

Methods for managing customer or workplace reactivity, aggressive behaviour, misunderstanding, and hostility will be discussed and each participant learns how to self-regulate their own physiological, neurological, and psychological responsiveness and enhance their learning and IQ.  Each participant will be conditioned to drive their own brain and set suitable and attainable goals. Any unique concerns regarding severe emotional trauma, chronic depression, addictions, distractibility, or those who are heavily medicated are reviewed.

NEWS
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is not related to I.Q. Some parents believe if their child has ADD ADHD it means that they will have it for the rest of their life. Other parents find their kid with A.D.D is really very, very bright. A.D.D. has nothing to do with intelligence. Thankfully, there are strategies and therapies available to help minimise the symptoms and their impact enhance the person's quality of life.
